Peter C. Lee, Head of Office, President, Owner

Peter co-founded THB in 1996 after being part of the development team of Indian Springs Ranch, a Jackson Hole luxury ranch community.  Before that time he honed his skills at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Forrester Construction in Washington DC.  Pete is a Structural Engineering graduate from Princeton University (Summa Cum Laude) and has a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.  Peter has managed projects that have been featured in Ralph Kylloe’s Rustic Artistry of the Home and Cabins & Camps.  Either he or his projects have also been featured in magazines including Cowboys & Indians, Custom Wood Homes and Teton Home magazine.  In 2003, Peter and his family moved to Bozeman expanding THB’s operations to Big Sky and Southwest Montana.



Ben S. Jones, PM, Superintendent, Owner, LEED AP

Ben joined THB in 2004 and proved that he was an integral part of the team. His education includes a Business Administration Degree from Lees McRae College in North Carolina and a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Montana State University. He has excelled working both as a project manager and superintendent, with experience in commercial, custom residential and custom production building. Ben’s efficient time management, communication and proactive role in the entire building process are crucial skills that maintain positive and beneficial client and subcontractor relationships.  



John Myles, Superintendent

John brings an extensive background in building construction and land development. His experience as a craftsman, designer, carpenter foreman, construction site superintendent and project manager provide him with the knowledge and perspective to effectively plan and manage construction projects and to clearly communicate with all individuals involved in the process. He received an Associate Degree in Construction Technology from Montana State University and attended the Montana State University School of Architecture. He has worked with the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association and served as a past board director.



John A. Venner, Superintendent, Project Manager, Owner

John started with THB shortly after the opening of the Southwest Montana office and has proven himself to be a valuable asset as a superintendent and project manager.  He has a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from the Montana State University.  With more than 11 years of experience managing high end commercial and residential construction projects, John has developed a talent for sharing the vision of clients and architects.  John’s ability to focus on the finest of details while maintaining a macro view of the project enables enable him to consistently complete beautiful buildings on time and within budget.



Scott E. Walden, Lead Project Manager

Scott returned to his native Montana with his family in 2006. He brings 20 years of construction experience to THB. Thirteen of those years were in a family owned custom building business and the other five years were with a volume builder on the West Coast. He has experience managing all phases of construction, from initial client contact to customer service. Scott received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Central Washington University. Scott’s high level of professionalism, managerial skills, and commitment to client satisfaction has proven to be a valuable asset.



Jessi W. Ellis, Executive Assistant, Owner

Jessi joined the Jackson Hole team in 2002 as the Office Manager.  Her time management and organization skills made her indispensable to the day-to-day operations of THB.  In the spring of 2005, Jessi relocated to our Southwest Montana office to help coordinate and implement THB’s organizational systems.  Her experience in both offices and THB personnel in Wyoming and Montana makes her an essential part of communication within the company. She attended the University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.  Jessi’s humor, warmth, wit and intelligence make her a cornerstone of our operations.



Dennis W. Hiner, Superintendent

Dennis has extensive field and superintendent experience and takes pride in the craftsmanship of the completed project. With over 30 years of experience, Dennis brings an assortment of talents and expertise to THB. He has the ability to manage and coordinate all phases of construction with all persons involved in the project. Dennis received an Associate Degree in Architecture from Columbia Basin College and attended Montana State University for Civil Engineering and Project Management.
