What is Green Building
Green buildings are sited, designed, constructed and operated to balance the economic health and well being of one's family with the community, and the natural environment. The U.S. Energy Information Administration states that buildings are responsible for almost half of all annual greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., consuming more than three-quarters of all the electricity produced by American power plants. Green building synchronizes an immense set of practices and techniques to minimize the impact of building on the environment.
