The Lone Peak Brewery was built from the ground up by local Big Sky builders that have been putting up custom commercial properties and homes in Big Sky since 2004. If you’ve visited Big Sky, Montana in the last few year there’s a good chance that you popped in to try out the tasty craft brews at the Lone Peak Brewery after a hike or a day of skiing. Located in the meadow below Lone Peak and Big Sky Resort, the Lone Peak Brewery has become a community gathering place for this vibrant mountain town in Southwest Montana.
Teton Heritage Builders was delighted to be selected as the Big Sky builders on this high-profile project in 2006. Teton Heritage Builders was conceived in Jackson Hole, WY in 1996 and later expanded into the Big Sky region to deliver high quality properties to discerning clients.

Steve Nordahl, owner of Lone Peak Brewery, along with architect Eliot Goss designed the property to house the production space for brewing, a commercial kitchen for serving food at the brewery, and also added a few office spaces for rent. After five years in operation it was evident that the Lone Peak Brewery needed more elbow room for its customers so they brought back their trusted Big Sky builders to help out with an expansion.
Teton Heritage Builders came in over the winter of 2012 and expanded the seating area into the East side of the first floor. We moved and expanded the kitchen and appliances behind the new seating area, thereby opening up more bar space and table area in the main brewery. We installed a brand new ventilation system for the kitchen and added in rustic trim to the added dining area. In the future, there is talk about expanding even further into the spaces above the existing brewery rooms.

As a result, the Lone Peak Brewery can now accommodate many more visitors who want to enjoy the delicious offerings put forth by Steve, the accomplished brew master. Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of the Lone Peak Brewery and don’t forget to stop in the next time you are in Big Sky.
