Mark’s 20 years of general contracting experience have led him through all phases of the construction process including estimating, field engineering, site supervision, and project management. His resume began with a Civil Engineering Degree from Penn State University and an internship with the George Hyman Construction Company in Washington, DC. He began his career with one of the largest commercial general contractors in the country, The Clark Construction Group. His resume includes projects at the Pentagon Basement Renovation, the BWI Airport Terminal C, The San Antonio Convention Center, The Chevron Building in Houston (Formerly Enron), and the UCSF Genentech Biomedical Research Lab in Mission Bay San Francisco.
His ability to gain management and supervisory positions of increasing responsibility led him to partner on a design-build timber framing company in Maine. This was his transition to the custom home building industry that led him to Jackson Hole. Mark brings his attention to safety and high standard of quality to THB. Mark’s projects have been featured in Homestead magazine, Western Home Journal, and Log Homes Illustrated.
Mark and his much better half Jennifer are busy raising their two young boys TJ & Gunnar. They enjoy scenic and white-water trips floats on our abundant rocky mountain rivers, camping, skiing, hiking, and long-distance trail running. Mark joined the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity in 2016 and is currently Chairman of the Board.
