This collaboration with Reid Smith Architects takes you back to an older time. The main features of this home are the 30’’ diameter logs throughout the home’s interior and exterior, that blend well with the mountain stone. One of the main features of this home is the private pond that the owners can enjoy in the summer time for years to come.
This traditional home, designed by Jackson Trout Architects, reflects all that is Montana: Stone, Glass and Timber. Sitting in the ski-in/ski-out Cascade Subdivision at Big Sky Resort, this family home is the perfect getaway from the city life. This home was completed fall of 2023.
This traditional mountain home blends all of the details one would expect in a Big Sky home: Timber, Log and Stone. Designed by Centre Sky Architects, with interiors done by Erica & Co., this home features soaring ceilings in the great room, with a custom steel trusses and a massive stone fireplace. The outdoor space is very much a part of this home, as the views to the south capture what “Big Sky” really means.
