Teton Heritage Builders has been erecting custom buildings for 16 years throughout Montana and Wyoming and we are certainly not ashamed of any part of our past. In fact, we are very proud of our custom homes and commercial projects in the Northern Rockies. To us it is no coincidence that our impressive building resume comes with a long list of glowing client testimonials.

As part of our standard practices we recommend that all of our potential clients contact our past clientele to get the scoop on Teton Heritage Builders. We know that this is a fairly common practice for most businesses, but we are also aware that clients can be selectively left off the reference list for varying reasons. That is not how we operate. We open our rolodex to potential clients as far back as they want to go. Carhartt Chooses Teton Heritage Builders

International clothing giant Carhartt chose Teton Heritage Builders in their quest to find hard working construction professionals to photograph for their 2012 Fall men’s collection. Our guys didn’t have to think on it for too long before accepting the offer to become Carhartt models.

The construction seasons are long and rugged here in the Rocky Mountains. So to meet the demands of our job we all wear Carhartt pants, shirts, hoodies, jackets and beanies. If Carhartt makes it, you will see it on our job sites. Simply put, it is high quality gear that lasts for a long time in our work environment. We see Carhartt as an essential tool for the job. As we’ve done many times in the past, this year our employees received Carhartt jackets with the THB logo embroidered on the chest for Christmas.

We were surprised to get the phone call from Carhartt asking about our interest in being photographed for their Fall clothing line. Though we aren’t shy guys, typically we don’t jump at the opportunity to be in front of a camera. This scenario was different in that we truly believe in the product that we were being asked to represent. So our decision was pretty easy to make.

Peter and Ben met with the production crew one Montana morning and tried on various articles from their upcoming Fall clothing line. Armed to the teeth with the coolest Carhartt gear you could possibly need in the Northern Rockies, we took the Carhartt photo crew around to a few of our job sites to get some action shots. It wasn’t a big ordeal to get photos – our guys acted like it was another day on the job. We did get a few funny looks for having brand new clothing on compared to the well worn Carhartts that is the norm. We were certainly the center of attention that day!

Poking around the Carhartt website I immediately spotted Ben at the top of the Men’s clothing line page. I’m told that Peter was also featured on the website, but it has since been replaced with another photo. And word through the grapevine in Big Sky tells us that Peter was spotted in a full page Carhartt magazine ad recently. We can’t wait to see more photographs pop up throughout their advertising campaign. Let us know if you spot one of our guys in a Carhartt ad!

Quality Project Management Equals Success

Teton Heritage Builders takes a Project Team approach toward home building. Our project management processes were adapted from commercial construction and tailored to meet the demands of building high-end Custom Homes in the Rocky Mountain Region.

We dedicate a Project Team to your home consisting of a Superintendent and a Project Manager.

Our Superintendents are on site full time. This team member oversees, manages, and participates in all daily construction activities. The Superintendent might be the framing foreman on a small sized residence, the lead on the siding and exterior trim installation, or the finish carpenter hanging doors and installing the detailed base and case. They are also there to answer any questions and solve any issue that will arise in the building process. We equip them with an on-site trailer, phone, fax, and computer so communication with our office, the architect or the client is never an issue.
Our Project Managers are the office bound teammate dedicating time to your job and who facilitate all project management and documentation from subcontractors scopes of work to monthly payment applications and budget reports. This includes first and foremost a consistent level of client and consultant communication.

Our team approach to project management provides your job Superintendent the freedom to deal with the construction and subcontractor work and not the back ground noise of the softer side of operations. The Project Manager manages all the paperwork and with the Superintendent ensures there is no detail overlooked or option considered. Additionally, the policy of Teton Heritage Builders is to assign the Superintendent and PM for the duration of the job.

Additionally, many employees are working owners or partners within Teton Heritage Builders. These vested parties fill pivotal positions ranging from estimators and project managers to CEO and superintendents. Our loyal teammates are with us to help grow the company. Forgoing a short term outlook on the job market, some employees have been with Teton Heritage Builders for 14 years and longer. We all are imbibed with the responsibility to perform our jobs like it is our company, and in most cases, it is.
